- Schedule an appointment
We strongly recommend that you make an appointment before you
visit a visa application centre. This will save you unnecessary
waiting time, especially during busy periods.
Please note: As part of the visa application procedure,
you will need to providee biometric
data, which includes a digital fingerscan. If you have temporary
injuries on your fingers, please wait until the injuries to heal
before you book your appointment. Henna on fingertips may also
mean we are unable to get a clear scanned image and should be
removed or allowed to fade before your appointment date.
Making a student visa appointment in Bangladesh
From 1 February 2010, student visa appointments are suspended.
This follows the announcement by the UK Border Agency that it
is temporarily not accepting any new student visa applications
under Tier 4 of the Points Based System at the visa application
centres in Dhaka, Sylhet and Chittagong.
Applicants whose scheduled appointments are suspended will be
prioritised for appointments when the UK Border Agency begins
to accept Tier 4 applications again.
