The visa application fees noted below are denominated in British Pounds and
payable in Bangladesh Taka equivalent calculated at the Consular Rate of
Exchange.
All fees are subject to change at short notice. visa application fees with
effect from 20 November 2008 are as follows:

NOTE:
Please note that if you apply for a 1, 2, 5 or 10 year visit visa and the Entry
Clearance Officer decides that only a 6 month visa is appropriate, there will
be no refund for the difference in fees.
The visa application fees can be paid at any of the designated branches of
Brac Bank.
Alternatively, an applicant has the option to turn in with a pay order / demand
draft of the exact visa fee amount in favor of the "British High Commission"
but bank drafts only from Standard Chartered, HSBC, Sonali Bank, South East
Bank or Brac Bank are acceptable. The applicants also have the option to
purchase a Banker's Draft at the UK Visa Application Center.
Those traveling to the UK as dependants pay the same fee as the main applicant.
Each applicant, regardless of age, is required to pay the appropriate fee.
An official receipt should be obtained for all payments made.
Payment of a fee does not guarantee issuance of a visa. Visa application fees
are not refundable if an application is refused or withdrawn
